Aug 27, 2026"Reception and order taking were great and then it all started slipping downhill. At one point we are surrounded by two managers, two food servers and one waiter and the next thing you know they all disappeared. We constantly had to look for our waiter. First drink I ordered took some time while the second one took an eternity while our esteemed bartender was trying to create his masterpiece drink of the 21st century. Please excuse my sarcasm but for the price we paid at that place, it was a total disgrace. The buffet was assorted but has been sitting there forever. The Seafood Paella was a food poisoning incident waiting to happen. Rock hard rice. Super dry seafood. Stale and dry bread. Ordered fresh bread. Took forever as the waiter insisted on bringing the grilled garlic butter bread on the skewers along the other meats. Desserts buffet very poor."

Jul 18, 2026"Unforgettable Experience at Fuego – Ask for Christopher! From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless. Christopher, our waiter, set the tone with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. He anticipated every need, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel like honored guests. The starters were superb—especially the chimichurri, which was vibrant, balanced, and unforgettable. Every dish that followed carried the same excellence. If you’re in Mérida and want a culinary experience that blends flavor with impeccable hospitality, Fuego is a must—and Christopher is the soul of the experience."
